Description
11/23/21 - This is an excellent example of a very rare Walther PPK sold in the commercial market in 1935. It has a "verchromt" finish, which was WaltherÄôs experiment in producing a variation of the plated finish - essentially a type of electrolysis plating that gave the gun a dull gray appearance. Only about 1,500 PPK's were made in this configuration. This one is all matching and has the proper "Crown N" proofs. It comes as a rig with an early brown leather Akah holster, one verchromt flat bottom magazine, and one brown finger extension magazine. The gun has retained about 97% of its verchromt finish. While there is very little actual finish loss, there are tiny dots of oxidation on both sides of the slide and on the trigger guard, most noticeable on the left side of the slide. Also on the left side of the slide, there are some areas with tiny pits. Comes with an excellent brown grip. The bore is mint.Specifications
