Description

11/29/21 - This is a very nice example of a Walther Model 4 sold in the commercial market in the 1920's. The gun is all matching and has the proper "Crown N" commercial proofs. It has retained about 92% of its original finish. Most of the bluing loss is concentrated around the high edges of the slide and around the muzzle. There are also areas of wear on the front strap, underside of the trigger guard, and on the tang. There areas of thinning along the right side of the slide and minor freckling on both grip straps. Comes with excellent period-correct black bakelite grips and one proper magazine. The bore has good rifling with minor pin-pricking throughout.
