Description
2/28/23 - This is a minty example of a Colt Model 1911A1 issued to the US military in 1943. It is "United States Property" marked, has the proper "GHD" inspector initials, and has the correct cross-canon military cartouche. It also has a proper Colt barrel. The gun has retained about 97% of its parkerized finish. Unfortunately, someone scratched "DFR" and "BCG" initials lightly into the right side of the slide. There are a few small spots of wear on the very front edge of the frame and some handling marks around the takedown lever. There is some spotty wear on the grip safety and one or two small handling marks on the front strap. Comes with excellent plastic grips and a period-correct unmagazine. The bore is mint.Specifications
