Description

12/1/21 - This is a minty example of a French MAS Model 1936-51 Rifle. The M36-51, successor of the M36, saw service in the First Indochina War, Algerian War and extended into part of the Cold War. Perhaps its most unique feature is its adjustable grenade launcher front sight and assembly around the muzzle. The gun is all matching and there is a small import mark on the left side of the frame. The gun comes with a tan leather sling and an original rubber butt pad (some light cracking around the edges). The gun has retained virtually all of its parkerized finish with some very light surface scuffs here and there on the barrel and receiver. The stock is in mint condition. The bore is factory-new. Just a beautiful example of a unique gun.
