Description

12/13/21 - This is a very nice example of a Walther Mod HP sold in the commercial market around 1940. It is all matching and has the proper "Eagle N" commercial proofs. It has retained about 93-94% of its high polish finish. There is very minor wear around the high edges of the slide and around the muzzle. An area of discoloration around the very front edge of the right side of the slide. There is thinning and very minor patina on the front strap. There are some tiny handling marks/light scratches on the barrel and underside of the trigger guard. Comes with period-correct bakelite grips and a properly un-marked commercial magazine. The bore is vey shiny with strong rifling and some areas of minor freckling.
