Description
12/17/21 - This is a very nice example of a Mauser Model 1914 rig that was issued to the German police force in the 1930's. The gun is all matching, has a "1920" German government marking on left side of the slide, and has a "L.P. 132" police unit marking on the front strap. The gun comes a complete rig with a period-correct magazine and a police holster. The holster is dated 1933, has a police "Star F" marking, and is numbered to match the gun. Also, written on the inside of the top flap is what we assume to be the name of the officer who was issued the gun. It appears the belt loop was adjusted and re-stitched at some point. The gun has retained about 91-92% of its original finish. Most of the finish loss is on the left side and top of the slide. There is also some minor wear on the high edges in general and some spotty wear on the front strap. The trigger has a beautiful fire-blued finish. It comes with an excellent period-correct wood grip. The bore is mint.Specifications
