SOLD - 1918 Erfurt Luger (4444m - 18470)

Description

1/3/22 - This is a nice example of an Erfurt Luger issued to the Imperial German military in 1918. It is all matching, has the proper Erfurt proofs throughout, and has Imperial German military acceptance stamps on the right side of the slide. It has retained roughly 85% of its original finish. There is spotty wear and light brown patina on the grip straps - most noticeable on the front strap. Minor wear on the high edges of the side plate, side rails, on the chamber, and around the muzzle. Some thinning and minor discoloration on the whole barrel. A few minor pits on the side plate and a few very minor scratches on the left side of the frame. Comes with un-numbered wood grips and a mismatched wood-bottom magazine. Strong bore with minor frosting in the grooves. NOTE: The slide does not lock back on its own unless you push up on the magazine bottom.
