Description
1/5/22 - This is a nice example of a Sauer Model 1913 sold in the commercial market in the 1920's. This is a third variation example, characterized by the added spring-loaded lever just below the manual safety lever on the left side of the gun. This one is all matching and has the proper "Crown N" commercial proofs throughout. It has retained roughly half of its original bluing. There is finish loss on the whole gun, concentrated most heavily around the high edges. There is also spotty oxidation covering all surfaces. There is an area of surface scratching on the left side of the frame around the serial number. It comes with very nice period-correct black plastic grips and one proper magazine. There is one small chip in the left grip panel, and the right grip panel fits a little loose on the gun. The rifling in the bore is worn with some minor pitting throughout.Specifications
