Description

1/5/22 - This is a nice example of a Russian Moin-Nagant Model 1891 manufactured in 1898. As evidenced by the "Rectangle SA" markings, this gun was reworked by the Finnish. Many serial numbers on the gun (not matching) have been crossed out, more evidence of its rework. No import marks. Comes with an original cleaning rod. Overall, the gun is in nice condition. Generally, there is wear around the high edges. There is noticeable scratchy wear around the muzzle and areas of splotchy discoloration along the whole barrel and some on receiver. The magazine has almost no finish left. The stock is nice with only minor dings and dents here and there. The bore has good rifling with some areas of minor pin-pricking.
