Description
1/7/22 - This is a very nice example of an Arisaka Type 99 rifle issued to the Japanese military during WW2. This one is all matching but has a ground Imperial mum stamp on the receiver. It comes with a period-correct bayonet and scabbard. The bayonet is numbered but does not match the gun. Overall, the gun is in very nice condition. There is very little actual finish loss, but there is brown patina throughout and splotchy discoloration covering the whole receiver. The wood stock is very nice, but there are some noticeable dings, dents, and scratches especially on the underside of the butt stock. The rear screw through the tang on the underside of the gun is pretty well buggered. The bore is mint.Specifications
