Description

1/20/22 - This is a minty example of a Remington Model 03-A3 issued to the US military in August of 1943. The barrel is Remington-marked and dated June of 1943. The gun was reworked, as evidenced by the electro pencil-numbered bolt handle and RIA rework stamp on the left side of the stock. The right side of the butt stock was also marked with the gun's serial number. Overall, the gun is in minty condition, retaining nearly all of its parkerized finish. There is just a hint of thinning on the barrel and some light scratches/handling marks on the front barrel band, floor plate, and trigger group. The stock is excellent with only minor dings and scratches - a few more noticeable gouges on the underside of the stock just behind the rear barrel band. The bore is near-mint.
