1/7/22 - This is a very nice example of an FN Browning Model 1922 Rig issued to the Nazi military during WW2. The gun is all matching and has the proper "Waffen 140" Nazi military acceptance proofs. It comes as a rig with an excellent 1942-dated Luftwaffe-proofed holster and two period-correct magazines (one is "Waffen 140" proofed). There is a name written on the inside of the holster, presumably the GI who captured it. The gun has retained about 92-93% of its original finish. Most of the finish loss is on the back grip strap. Generally, there is minor wear around the high edges of the slide and around the muzzle. Some very light spotty freckling around the muzzle as well. Comes with excellent period-correct wood grips. The bore is mint.
