Description

1/7/21 - This is a beautiful example of a Colt Government Model 1911A1 sold in the commercial market in 1925. The gun is all correct and has a scarce "Circle MB" marked barrel. From research, this seems to indicate that the barrel was identified as being of National Match grade. The gun has retained about 97% of its original high polish Colt bluing. Most of the finish loss is in the form of somewhat scratchy wear on the front strap and underside of the trigger guard, so the profile views are minty. Just hints of wear on the high edges and around the muzzle. A few very light scratches here and there along the slide. Comes with mint period-correct wood grips and a proper two-tone magazine. The bore is stone-mint.
