Description
1/11/22 - This is an excellent example of a Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1944. The gun is all matching (except for the locking block, which is un-numbered) and has the proper "Eagle 359" Nazi military acceptance proofs throughout. There is an "Eagle BH" proof on the left side of the frame, indicating this gun ended up at an arsenal and eventually issued to the Austrian military. It comes as a rig with a generic pigskin holster, one period-correct Walther magazine, and one scarce "U" marked Walther magazine. The gun has retained about 97-98% of its finish. There is very minor wear at the front edges of the slide and around the muzzle. A few very light scratches and handling marks on the right side of the slide. Comes with excellent period-correct reddish bakelite grips. The rifling in the bore is a bit worn with tiny pits throughout. De-cocker is functional.Specifications
