Description

1/19/22 - This is a minty example of an end-of-WW2 "a-prefix" Spreewerk P.38 issued to the Nazi military in March of 1945. The gun is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 88" Nazi military acceptance proofs throughout. There appear to be two peened markings on the left side of the frame, likely post-war East German markings. In any case, the gun has retained about 98% of its bluing. There is a hint of wear on the front strap and very minor wear around the muzzle and on the very front edges of the slide. There is some wear on the left side of the slide from the safety lever. A few very light scratches/handling marks on the right side of the slide. Comes with very nice bakelite grips and a period-correct Mauser magazine. De-cocker does not function properly. The bore is near-mint.
