Description

1/26/22 - This is a very nice example of a JP Sauer K98 rifle issued to the Nazi military in 1942. The chamber is dated 1942 and has a "CE" JP Sauer factory code. The gun is entirely matching except for the floor plate and follower. The stock is not numbered and has been duffle-cut; the very front portion of the stock and upper handguard move freely (see photos). There is very little actual finish loss, but there is noticeable oxidation covering most of the metal parts. Spotty oxidation on the butt plate as well. The stock is in excellent condition and has no visible markings. The bore is excellent and has strong rifling.
