SOLD - Excellent 1944 Berlin-Lubecker G.43 Sniper

1/26/22 - This is an excellent example of a Berlin-Lubecker G.43 sniper rifle issued to the Nazi military in 1944. The gun is entirely matching, including the stock. It has the proper military waffen proofs throughout. It comes equipped with a cleaning rod, leather sling, a period-correct magazine, scope mount, and an original ZF4 scope (optics are poor and cloudy). From examining others, we believe that the scope mount itself is original, but we are fairly certain the lever is reproduction. We cannot say for sure on either. The gun is mostly blued, but there are some phosphate parts, such as the barrel band and trigger group. Overall, the gun is in excellent condition. There is very little finish loss except for some minor wear around the muzzle, light scuffs here and there along the barrel, and some minor thinning on the bolt carrier. There is some spotty oxidation and discoloration on the barrel. The wood stock is excellent with very little wear and has the proper waffen proofs on the wrist and right side of the butt stock. There is one small crack on the underside of the butt stock adjacent to the butt plate. The bore has spotty oxidation and minor pitting throughout.
