1/25/22 - This is an excellent example of a Mauser Luger issued to the Nazi military in 1936. The gun is all matching and has the proper "Droop Wing Eagle 63" Nazi military acceptance proofs on the right side of the slide. It has retained about 96% of its original finish. There are areas of minor wear on the side plate, front edges of the side rails, and around the muzzle. There is some light spotty wear along the barrel. Very minor thinning and freckling on both grip straps. There are a few tiny dings on the front strap. A very small spot of discoloration on the left side of the frame next to the safety lever. Comes with nice un-numbered wood grips (very small chip in the bottom corner of the left panel) and a mismatched period-correct magazine. The rifling in the bore is a bit worn with tiny pits throughout.
