Description

1/27/22 - This is a nice example of a Walther PP issued to the Luftwaffe in 1941. The gun is all matching and has the proper "Waffen 359" military proofs on the left side of the slide and frame. This gun is in the proper serial range for a Luftwaffe-issued gun and even comes with a near-matching numbered mag that is only 9 numbers away. It has retained only about 30% of its original finish. There is fairly even wear throughout, concentrated mostly on the slide and grip straps. There is some spotty brown patina on the straps and a few small spots of minor oxidation along the slide. Comes with excellent period-correct grips. Mint bore. NOTE: The hold-open does not work properly unless applying pressure on the base of the magazine.
