Description
4/8/26 - This is a nice example of a Colt New Service revolver, manufactured in 1906 and chambered in .45 Colt. It is all matching and has a 5.5" barrel. We believe the barrel was cut down and reinstalled, as evidenced by the cut-off New Service marking on the left side of the barrel. The gun has retained roughly 85% of its original high polish bluing. The majority of the wear is along the barrel, but there is also general high edge wear and surface scratches here and there. Bright fire-bluing on the hammer and trigger. Fitted with excellent, early checkered wood grips. The bore is in minty condition overall, but there is a slight dent in the barrel visible in the bore.
