Description
10/3/25 - This is one of the approximately 5,000 Model 1906 DWM Lugers made for the Royal Portuguese Army. This is a good shooter grade example. The Royal Portuguese Crest of Manuel II is present on top of the chamber, with the DWM scroll marking on the toggle. A triangle in a circle is marked on the rear of frame and left side of the slide. This contract was for 5,000 Lugers in 30 caliber, and without the lug stock. This one has a replaced barrel chambered in 9mm Luger. All numbered parts are matching except for the side plate. The finish rates roughly 85%. While there isn't much actual finish loss, there are areas of pitting here and there, most noticeable on the grip straps. Fitted with replacement wood grips. Comes with a reproduction magazine. Mint bore.
