Description

2/23/22 - This is an excellent example of a Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1945. The gun is all matching and has the proper "Eagle 359" military acceptance proofs throughout. It has retained about 95-96% of its original finish. Most of the finish loss is on the front strap (where there is also some light brown patina), so the profile views are minty. There are just hints of wear concentrated around the high edges of the slide and a small area of very light scratching on the right side of the slide. Comes with excellent period-correct grips and a scarce "U"-marked late-war Walther magazine. The bore is near-mint with some areas with a few tiny freckles. De-cocker is functional.
