Description

2/22/22 - This is a very nice example of a Hungarian Femaru Model 37 manufactured in 1940. It is all matching and has a "St. Stephen's Crown" acceptance proof on the left side of the trigger guard. It is generally believed this a non-military mark but rather indicates commercial sale or police issue. It has retained about 94% of its original finish. Most of the finish loss is somewhat spotty wear around the muzzle and on the right side of the slide. There is also very minor wear around the high edges of the slide. Some light scratches on the front strap. Some spotty wear and minor pin-pricking on the back strap. Comes with excellent wood grips and a proper un-numbered magazine. The rifling in the bore is good, but there is minor pin-pricking throughout.
