Description

3/21/2023 - This is a Amberg Gewehr 98 Rifle issued to the imperial German military in 1912. It is all matching, except for the bolt which is a Czech replacement. There is finish loss throughout, but the most obvious wear is noticeable spotty brown patina and spots of oxidation. No major damage to the wood stock, but there are noticeable dings, dents, and bruises throughout. Small gouge to the right of the rear sight. Bore has good rifling but there is pin pricking throughout.
