Description
2/23/22 - This is an excellent example of a Savage Model 1917 manufactured in the 1920's. It has retained about 95% of its original finish. Virtually all of the original case-hardening on the trigger is intact. Most of the wear is along the length of the left side of the barrel. There is also minor muzzle wear and minor, somewhat scratchy wear around the front edge of the frame. While there isn't much actual finish loss, there are areas of freckling on the barrel and on both grip straps. Comes with nice period-correct black bakelite grips (one repaired hairline crack on the left side) and one proper magazine. Excellent bore with some light frosting in some of the grooves.Specifications
