Description

4/16/25 - For sale is a Gewehr 98 made by Amberg in 1913 that was converted to a 98M after WW1. The rifle shos plenty of wear throughout. The receiver has some touch-ups of old cold blue and other parts with a layer of patina. The stock has been sanded, and there is an "A" on the left side below the receiver and "EWB" for the Einwohnerwehr Bayern, a militia in Bavaria. The bore is in good condition with strong rifling. The serial numbers are mismatched. A ZF41 scope rail was installed on the rear sight. Cleaning rod is absent.
