Description
3/3/26 - This is a very nice example of an Erfurt Luger issued to the Imperial German Army in 1914. All matching with the proper Imperial military and Erfurt proofs. It has retained about 94% of its original finish. While there isn't a ton of actual finish loss, there are some areas of light freckling (most noticeable on the grip straps), some pin-pricking on the left side of the gun (most noticeable on the side plate), a few small handling marks, and general high edge wear. Fitted with matching-numbered and Erfurt-proofed wood grips (there is a barely-visible repaired chip in the upper corner on the left side. Comes with a mismatched but period-correct magazine - small chip in the base. The bore has great rifling with just some very light frosting in the grooves.
