8/26/26 - This is a very nice example of an Erfurt Luger issued to the Imperial German Army in 1914. 1914 was a relatively low production year as compared to other years, making this one scarce. All matching (except for the rear toggle pin which is un-numbered) with the proper Imperial military and Erfurt proofs. It has retained about 94% of its original finish with general high edge wear, muzzle wear, and some light freckling on the grip straps. Light oxidation around the muzzle as well. Fitted with excellent matching-numbered and Erfurt-proofed wood grips. Comes with an un-numbered magazine. The bore has great rifling with just some light frosting in the grooves.
