Description
10/29/26 - This is a great example of a Hotchkiss M1914 heavy machine gun barrel chambered in 7.65 Argentine (7.65x53). The external finish on the barrel is in great shape and has retained most of its original blued finish. There is high-edge wear and some muzzle wear present. The entirety of the barrel shows signs of handling wear and dents from moving and being transported over time. There is a light patina present on most of the barrel, though it does not seem to penetrate beyond the outer layer. The bore within this heavy barrel is very nice with strong rifling throughout. There are some light signs of frosting, primarily in the ridges. The barrel is ~29.5" in length and weighs just over 22lbs. The bottom of the barrel is stamped "30" on one of the ribs and "DEMONTAGE // INTERDIT" under the barrel. Overall a very nice Hotchkiss M1914 heavy barrel.
