Description
10/5/26 - This is a very nice example of a Webley Mark V issued to the British military in 1915. It has the proper British military acceptance proofs throughout. The frame and barrel are matching, but the cylinder is mismatched. It is chambered in .455, and the cylinder is in original condition (it has not been shaved for .45 ACP). The original bluing rates about 90%, with minor high edge wear, some spotty wear with dings on the underside of the trigger guard, and some flaking in the finish with spotty wear on the cylinder. Fitted with reddish bakelite grips. Mint bore. An unaltered .455 Mark V that still carries much of its WWI-era finish.
