Description
6/25/26 - This is a Steyr Hahn Model 1912 issued to the Austria-Hungarian military during WW1, in 1915. The gun is all matching, is dated 1915, and has the proper Austrian military acceptance proof on the right side of the trigger guard. There is no "08" on the left side of the slide, indicating that it was not converted to 9mm and is therefore still chambered in 9mm Steyr. There is a "7HR. 64" military unit marking on the right side of the frame, which represents the 7th Hussar Regiment. It has retained about 93% % of its original finish. There is some wear on The front strap, a couple of small spots of wear on the right side of the slide, some wear and very light spotty oxidation around the muzzle, and noticeable freckling on both grip straps. Fitted with excellent period-correct wood grips. The bore has good rifling, but there is light pin-pricking throughout.
