Description
3/1/22 - This is a minty example of a Springfield M1 Garand. The receiver dates to August of 1943. It was later converted from .30-06 to 7.62 NATO or .308 Winchester. The barrel was replaced and is dated September of 1965. As with most of these conversions, the stock was also replaced. Both the stock and barrel have DOD acceptance stamps. The gun is in minty condition with very little finish loss. There is some splotchy discoloration around the front end of the receiver, some light handling marks on the barrel, and a couple of light scuffs on the floor plate. The stock is excellent, but there are some light bruises here and there and very light surface cracking in the wood on the left side of the butt stock. Comes with a green canvas sling. The bore is mint.Specifications
