Description
8/31/26 - This is an original Frommer Stop from 1916 that was issued to the Hungarian Army during World War I. The Frommer Stop was the official sidearm of the Hungarian branch of the Austro-Hungarian Army from 1912 until 1929. This was has military acceptance and '16 date on the left side of the trigger guard. It also comes with one original matching-numbered magazine. The gun's original bluing rates roughly 85%. The majority of the actual finish loss is on the back strap, but there is also some spotty, scratchy wear along the round edges of the slide (some light freckling in the same areas). Some scratches and marks on the front strap as well. Fitted with period-correct wood grips. Excellent bore with great rifling.
