Description

09/09/2024 - For sale is a K98k rifle using a recycled Gew98 Mauser Oberndorf receiver. The receiver has a "bnz" stamp for being reworked by Steyr with a single rune stamped with a 4 below the manufacturer stamp. The barrel has been produced by Steyr and is marked bnz/1 in a shield. The stock is not original to the gun and is a Yugo stock. The stock has some splits forming between the grains. The barrel bands are stamped matching to the gun but the middle barrel band has signs of heavy grinding on each side of the sling loop. The bolt does not match the rifle. Bore is bright towards the chamber but gets darker towards the muzzle.
