Description
4/24/26 - This is a Steyr Hahn Model 1912 issued to the Austria-Hungarian military during WW1, in 1916. The gun is all matching, is dated 1916, and has the proper Austrian military acceptance proof on the right side of the trigger guard. There is no "08" on the left side of the slide, indicating that it was not converted to 9mm and is therefore still chambered in 9mm Steyr. It has retained roughly 80-85% of its original finish with areas of finish loss on both sides of the slide and on the front strap. While there isn't a ton of actual finish loss, there is obvious spotty oxidation throughout. Fitted with period-correct wood grips (they fit a bit loosely). The bore has good rifling in general, but there is noticeable spotty oxidation around the muzzle end.
