Description
7/20/26 - This is an original 1916-dated Luger holster issued to the German military during WWI. The inside of the top flap is maker marked “Friedr. Wilh. Offermann / 1916 / Bensberg.” The dark brown leather remains pliable, yet firm and structurally sound, with its age showing in the form of scattered marks, dings, and honest handling wear throughout the exterior. A series of evenly spaced horizontal impressions runs up the right side of the reverse and continues around the toe. The stitching remains mostly intact throughout and is near-excellent shape. The closure strap is wrinkled and shows cracking through the center and should be treated delicately, but remains fully functional. The interior leather is generally well preserved, with expected contact wear from pistol insertion.
