Description
7/20/26 - An original 1916-dated Luger holster issued to the German military during WWI, maker-marked inside the top flap "Friedr. Wilh. Offermann / 1916 / Bensberg." The dark brown leather remains pliable yet firm and structurally sound, with its age showing as scattered marks, dings, and honest handling wear across the exterior. A series of evenly spaced horizontal impressions runs up the right side of the reverse and around the toe. The stitching is mostly intact and in near-excellent shape. The closure strap is wrinkled with cracking through the center and should be treated delicately, but remains fully functional, and the interior leather is well preserved with only expected contact wear from pistol insertion. Imperial-dated Luger leather this honest is the natural companion to a WWI P.08 - and 1916-dated examples are only getting harder to find.
