Description

3/15/22 - This is a very nice example of a Remington Model 03-A3 rifle issued to the US military in November of 1943. The barrel is marked Remington and is dated September of 1943. There is an "RIA FK3" stamp on the left side of the stock, indicating the gun was re-worked at the Rock Island Arsenal. There is also a "P" proof and the proper military inspection stamp and cross-canon cartouche on the left of the stock. Overall, the gun is in very nice condition. There isn't much actual finish loss except for some wear on the butt plate. A few light scratches on the barrel and barrel bands. There is minor discoloration on the receiver and some light scratches on the floor plate. The stock is excellent with only minor dings here and there. The bore is mint.
