Description
7/8/26 - This is a very nice example of an Artillery Luger issued to the Imperial German military in 1917. It is all matching with the proper Imperial proofs. It comes as a rig with a period-correct but mismatched magazine, cleaning rod, and a 1915--dated Spandau tan leather holster (there are some stitching holes on the front, and the belt loop has been modified on the back). The gun itself has retained about 95% of its original finish with general high edge and muzzle wear. While there is not much actual finish loss, there is spotty oxidation/patina along the barrel. Fitted with matching-numbered wood grips - small chip in the upper corner of the left side. The bore has great rifling with light frosting in the grooves. The hold-open does not work properly with this magazine but does work properly when pressing upward on the mag bottom.
