Description

9/29/20 - This is a nice example of a desirable and complete DWM Artillery Luger rig from 1917 with holster, cleaning rod, tool and matching stock. The pistol has all matching numbers, including the grips but not the magazine. The magazine is period original but mismatched to the gun. The original blue is in good condition but shows some thinning along the barrel, sideplate and front strap. Bore has strong rifling but some frost throughout. The holster is 1916 dated and maker marked, and comes with the original leather cups and shoulder strap. The stock is numbered to the gun with crisp imperial proof on it. The wood is in great condition with no cracks or chips. Note that the grips have the red 9 carved into them in the same way that the 'Red 9' broomhandles do.
