Description
4/28/21 - This is a very nice example of a DWM Luger issued to the Imperial German Army in 1917. It is all matching and has the proper Imperial proofs. It has a "1920" rework marking on the chamber. It has a unit marking on the front strap that stands for the Jager unit - an elite fighting unit. The same unit marking is on the tang. The gun has retained about 93% of its original bluing. There is minor wear at the base of the straps, on the side plate, front edges of the frame, and around the muzzle. Spotty oxidation throughout. Comes with nice original matching grips and a mismatched period-correct magazine. The bore has strong rifling with minor pin-pricking throughout.Specifications
