1917 Swiss Luger Holster

6/30/26 - This is a G. Weber Menziken Swiss Luger holster that is dated 1917. The leather on this holster has remained sturdy but pliable. There are no signs of any rips or tears in the leather, though there is a short (~2") surface level scratch on the front of the holster to the right of the leather strap. There is also some finish cracking towards the barrel end of the holster, though this does not penetrate the actual leather. Additionally, there are a few surface scratches on the back of the holster to the right of the belt loops, most likely caused by general wear. The magazine pouch located on top of the flap is in great shape with no signs of significant damage. The mag pouch flap is malleable, but shows light finish cracking towards the connection to the mag pouch. There are scarce, light impressions dispersed over the holster. The stitching throughout the holster is in great shape with no signs of pulled or ripped threads. On the back of the holster, about 1" from the muzzle on the left side, it looks like 2 stitches may be starting to pull through, but at this time, are still in tact and have not pulled through. The back of the holster bears the "G. Weber Menziken 17" stamp between the leather belt loops, and underneath the flap to the left of the strap is the correct Swiss Plus "Seh" proof stamp.
