Description
11/5/25 - This is a nice example of a Colt Model 1911 issued to the US Army in 1917. It is all correct with the proper "HP" Colt barrel. It has retained somewhere between 85-90% of its original finish, and the majority of the finish loss is on the back strap. There is also general high edge wear, muzzle wear, and some light spotty wear on the front strap. Tiny handling marks and scratches along the slide. Fitted with period-correct wood grips and comes with a proper "L" marked two-tone magazine. The bore has pretty good rifling, but there is frosting throughout and some light pitting in the grooves.
