Description
8/20/26 - This is a nice example of a Colt Model 1911 issued to the US Army in 1917. It has all the correct markings with the proper "HP" Colt barrel. The gun has been completely re-blued and shows almost no actual bluing loss. There is a small area of spotty discoloration at the back left of the slide and a few tiny surface scratches here and there. Fitted with period-correct wood grips and comes with a proper two-tone lanyard loop magazine. The bore has decent rifling, but there is noticeable pitting and oxidation throughout.
