Description
3/31/26 - This is a very nice example of a DWM Luger that was originally issued to the Imperial German military in 1918. It was later reworked for re-issue to the early Nazi Kriegsmarine, as evidenced by the "1920" government property marking on chamber and the early "Eagle M" with "N1037" Nordsee Navy property marking on the front strap. It has is all matching, has the proper Imperial military proofs, and there are tiny punch marks next to the serial numbers on many of the parts. It has retained about 90% of its bluing. The majority of the actual finish loss is on the front strap, where there is also some very light pitting and oxidation. Fitted with un-numbered wood grips - there is a crack on the left side only visible from the inside. Comes with a mismatched "Eagle 63" marked magazine. The bore shows light pitting throughout.
