Description
9/22/26 - This is a very nice example of a DWM Luger originally issued to the Imperial German military in 1918. All matching with the proper Imperial military acceptance proofs. It was reworked after the war and issued to the Weimar-era German police, as evidenced by the added police sear safety, it has been cut for the magazine safety, and the "P.G.G.54." police unit marking on the front strap. It also comes with a matching police arsenal-numbered magazine (re-numbered at the arsenal to match). The gun's finish rates about 92%. There is general high edge wear, muzzle wear, spotty wear on the front strap, and a small spot of oxidation on the side plate. The right grip is numbered and mismatched, the left side has a police "Star K" marking. The bore has very good rifling with just light frosting throughout.
