Description
1/13/26 - This is a nice example of a Colt Model 1911 issued to the US Army in 1918. It is all correct and has the proper "Intertwined HP" Colt barrel. It has the proper "United States Property" marking and is military inspected. The gun has retained roughly 80% of its original finish. There is general thinning on the slide and grip straps with some light spotty oxidation here and there. Fitted with nice period-correct wood grips and comes with a proper two-tone magazine. The bore shows frosting and minor pitting in the grooves.
