Description
3/4/26 - This is a nice example of a Colt Model 1911 issued to the US Army in 1918. It has all the correct markings and has the proper "H P" Colt barrel. The gun has been completely refinished, and the vast majority of the finish loss is on the back strap and on the grip safety. There is also some minor pitting along the left side of the barrel and a few small surface scratches here and there. Fitted with nice period-correct wood grips and comes with a period-correct two-tone magazine. The rifling in the bore is a bit worn with noticeable pitting throughout.
