Description
7/31/26 - This is a Colt Model 1911 issued to the US Army in 1918. It has all the correct markings and has the proper "H P" Colt barrel. There is a "C" marking next to the serial number - we're not sure of the significance. The initials "RA" are scratched onto the left side of the trigger. The gun has lost nearly all of its original bluing. There is obvious finish loss and spotty brown patina on the whole gun. Some of the original bluing is visible in the crevices. Fitted with period-correct wood grips and comes with a proper two-tone magazine. The bore has good rifling, but there is noticeable pin-pricking throughout.
