Description
5/6/26 - This is a Colt Model 1911 put together from parts. The frame is from a commercial Colt Government Model and dates to 1919. The slide is a WWI-era military slide. The barrel is a WWII-era "F" marked Flannery barrel. Some of the small parts have been re-blued and replaced. Fitted with replaced wood grips and comes with a modern Mecgar magazine. The gun's bluing rates roughly 60%. The majority of the actual finish loss is on the frame, but there is scratchy/spotty wear on the slide. Some minor pitting and spotty oxidation around the front edge of the frame. The rifling in the bore is a bit worn with frosting throughout and noticeable pitting in the grooves.
