Description
5/1/26 - This is a Colt Model 1911 issued to the US military in 1919. It has a Savage-made replacement slide and an earlier and more scarce "H P" Colt barrel. The finish rates roughly 60%. There is obvious spotty wear and spotty brown patina covering the whole gun. Some of the small parts show much better bluing. There is also some light pin-pricking on the left side of the slide and on the front strap. Fitted with period-correct wood grips and comes with a blued magazine. The bore has great rifling with just very light pin-pricking throughout.
